Terms & Conditions

The agreement between you and Equintt for using Equintt. Section 8 is our Refund Policy.

Two things worth knowing before you read on: payment details are shown at checkout, and Equintt is not a veterinary service.

Last updated 14 September 2026

1Who we are

Equintt helps you choose a goal for your horse, agree what to observe, and keep visit reports together with their context so you can review what your journey shows over time. Photos and AI photo analysis are optional tools within that journey.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Equintt. “You” means the person who holds an Equintt account. “The service” means the Equintt application, website and anything we provide through them.

You can reach a person at support@equintt.com. That address is read by someone, not by a queue — it is the right one for a question, a complaint, a refund or a security report.

2Two agreements: your purchase and your use

When you subscribe, Equintt provides the service and a payment provider processes your checkout. The provider and the seller for that transaction are identified at checkout and on your receipt.

Check your checkout and receipt for payment details.

The payment provider shown there takes your payment and provides the applicable checkout terms. Your use of Equintt is governed by this document. Contact us if you need help identifying a charge or arranging a refund.

Your use of Equintt is governed by this document, with us.

The name on your statement may therefore be the payment provider or seller shown at checkout. You can contact us first about any billing question; see section 7.

3What Equintt is, and what it is not

Equintt helps you define a goal, record visits and observations, and review them over time. You may also choose a separate photo check-in for AI-generated observations. The record is based on information you provide and is not a measure of guaranteed progress.

Equintt is not a veterinary service.

It does not diagnose illness or injury, it is not a substitute for examination by a qualified veterinary surgeon, farrier, physiotherapist or trainer, and you must not rely on it to decide whether an animal needs treatment. If you are concerned about your horse’s health, call your vet.

AI-generated photo observations can be wrong or miss things a person standing next to the horse would see immediately. They are informational only, not an assessment of whether anything is wrong or proof that a goal has been achieved.

You remain solely responsible for the care, welfare and management of your horse, and for any decision you take about it.

4Your account

You need an account to use Equintt. You must be at least 16 years old, give us an email address you control, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

One account is for one person. You may add several horses to it, subject to your plan. If you share the care of a horse with someone else, each of you should have your own account.

Tell us promptly at support@equintt.com if you think someone else has got into your account.

5Your photographs and notes

Your photographs remain yours. We do not claim ownership of anything you upload.

You give us a limited licence to store your photographs and notes, and to process them, in order to provide the service to you — generating your analysis, building your horse’s journey, and producing your recaps and share cards. That licence exists only so that Equintt can work, and it ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your photographs to train artificial-intelligence models unless you turn that on yourself. It is off by default, it lives in Settings, and you can turn it off again at any time. Turning it off stops any further use; it does not undo training that has already happened, which is not technically reversible, and we say so on the toggle.

You must only upload photographs you have the right to upload, of animals you are responsible for or have permission to photograph.

6Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload anything unlawful, or any image of a person intended to identify them.
  • Use Equintt to make decisions about an animal’s medical treatment in place of professional advice.
  • Attempt to access another user’s account, data or photographs.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or place automated load on the service beyond ordinary use.
  • Resell or redistribute the analysis as though it were your own product.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

7Subscriptions, trials and billing

Equintt is a subscription. Current prices are on the pricing page, and the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

The free trial lasts seven days and requires a card. You are not charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before it ends, the subscription begins automatically and you are charged the plan price. We email you before the trial ends.

Subscriptions renew automatically — monthly or annually, depending on your plan — until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings or using the cancellation method provided by the payment provider on your receipt.

Cancelling keeps your data. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. After that the account becomes read-only: your horse’s history, photographs and recaps stay exactly where they are, and you can come back to them at any time by resubscribing. We never delete your data because you stopped paying.

If a payment fails, we will tell you and try again over a short period. If it keeps failing, the account moves to read-only rather than being closed.

We may change prices. If we do, existing subscribers get at least 30 days’ notice by email before it affects them, and can cancel before the new price applies.

8Refund Policy

This section is our refund policy. It applies alongside your statutory rights and any checkout terms provided by the payment provider, and does not reduce either.

The short version

Seven-day free trial, so you have time to try the service. If you were charged and did not mean to be, tell us and we will refund it. If Equintt did not work, tell us and we will refund it.

Your 14-day right to withdraw

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days, for any reason. Because Equintt is digital content supplied immediately, that right can be lost once you begin using the service — you are asked to acknowledge this at checkout. Even where the statutory right no longer applies, the rest of this policy still does.

When we will refund you

  • Accidental renewal. You meant to cancel and did not, and you have not meaningfully used the service since the charge. Ask within 30 days and we will refund in full.
  • The service did not work. A fault on our side stopped you using Equintt for a material part of the period you paid for.
  • Duplicate or incorrect charge. Always, without question.
  • Annual plan, early in the year. Within 30 days of an annual charge we will refund it in full if Equintt is not for you.

When we will not

  • Where the subscription has been used substantially through the period and you simply no longer want it — cancellation stops the next renewal instead.
  • Where an observation or suggested next step differs from your view. It is informational and does not guarantee a particular result.
  • Where there is evidence of fraud or repeated refund abuse.

How to ask

Email support@equintt.com with the email address on the account. We aim to answer within two business days.

We will review your request and coordinate with the payment provider when needed. Any approved refund is returned through the original payment method; processing time depends on the provider and your bank. You can also use the support method shown on your receipt.

9Availability and changes

We work to keep Equintt available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it down for maintenance, and we will keep that as short and as quiet as we can.

The service depends on third parties — hosting, payment processing, email delivery and an AI provider. An outage at one of them can affect Equintt.

We add and change features. If we remove something you depend on, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

10Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows: we are not liable for loss or harm arising from decisions you take about your horse based on Equintt, for loss of profit or opportunity, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

This reflects what Equintt is — a tool for noticing change, not a professional service. Veterinary decisions belong with your vet.

11Ending the agreement

You can stop using Equintt at any time. Cancelling your subscription ends the billing relationship; deleting your account ends this agreement.

Deleting your account is permanent. It removes your profile, your horses, every check-in and every photograph, and it cannot be undone. We verify that your files are actually gone before we report success, and we cancel any active subscription as part of the same operation. You can export everything first from Settings.

We may end this agreement if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, giving you notice and a chance to export your data unless the law prevents us.

12General

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email you at least 30 days beforehand. Continuing to use Equintt after that means you accept the change; if you would rather not, cancel and we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

These terms are governed by the law of the United States. If you are a consumer, none of this takes away the protections your own country's law gives you — those apply whatever this document says.
